How to claim

Please follow these steps to redeem your reward:

  1. Add an eligible product to your basket at ukplanettools.co.uk
  2. The BL1830 battery should appear in your basket alongside your product at a value of £0.00.
  3. Checkout, purchase & wait for delivery!

Free gift not appearing in your basket? It could be because we have surpassed 250 orders and the redemption is no longer running. Or, you could be trying to make a purchase outside the promotional window.

If you think it’s a technical fault, please get in touch with our customer service team as soon as possible via live chat (which you can find at the bottom right of your screen).

Terms & Conditions

As with all promotions, this redemption is subject to terms and conditions, which must be read and understood before participating. Please read them carefully if you wish to take part.

Participants must:

  • Complete all instructions to qualify (purchase 1 x eligible product)
  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be ordinarily resident in the UK and have a mainland UK address (ROI & international participants not eligible)

Please note:

  • Your payment for your qualifying Makita purchase must be processed successfully – any payment decline will mean your battery cannot be redeemed.
  • You must have purchased your Makita product from UK Planet Tools only and not another retailer or website.
  • You must have purchased your eligible product within the promotional window (1st October @ 00:00 BST – 30th November @ 23:59 GMT).
  • You must not have returned your items / received a refund on them – even as a gesture of goodwill – or at least one eligible Makita product must remain on receipt to claim your gift if multiple items were purchased in one transaction.
  • Returns of your qualifying purchase will ensure the free battery will also need to be returned. Failure to return this could lead to a charge of the market value of the BL1830 (£47.79).
  • You must not redeem on more than one transaction – we can give only one battery per household.
  • This redemption will end after the 250th order. We cannot negotiate to continue this redemption if you miss out.
  • We (UK Planet Tools) are the only participating retailer in this redemption. Claims/redemptions cannot be made with external businesses, including Makita UK.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw anyone from this redemption if it is found the redeemer has not complied to these conditions or has made a fraudulent transaction.
